Abu Samra border crossing all-set for Qatar World Cup fans

The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with a variety of entities and partners in the field of safety and security of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, has announced that the Abu Samra border crossing is fully prepared to receive fans beginning on November 1 and continuing until the end of the tournament. This preparation will take place in cooperation with various entities and partners.

The Ministry of the Interior held a press conference on Sunday to explain the various measures that should be enforced upon arrival at the Abu Samra border crossing in accordance with the Hayya Card that has been granted to all categories of World Cup fans. The Ministry also announced that it will welcome World Cup fans who are entering the country through state ports.

Official Spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior and the World Cup Security Force Colonel Dr. Jabr Hammoud Al Nuaimi and Executive Director at the Office of the Commander of the Tournament Security Operations Colonel Jassem Al Sayed explained the various measures that should be enforced upon arrival at the Abu Samra border crossing, as per Hayya Card granted to all fan categories.
