Al Duhail faces Umm Salal in title clash
Umm Salal is set to face Al Duhail in the final of the Ooredoo Cup, with both teams ready for a tough battle at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Umm Salal managed to secure their place in the final by winning against Al Arabi 2-1, while Al Duhail defeated rivals Al Sadd 3-1.
Al Duhail’s Nam Tae-hee acknowledged that Umm Salal will be high on confidence following their victory against Al Arabi. He also noted that Al Duhail is expecting a difficult game against a motivated team that deserved to reach the final after topping their group and beating Al Arabi in the semis. Nam stated that Umm Salal’s players will be focused on winning the title.
Despite this, the South Korean midfielder also stated that Al Duhail is equally confident ahead of the final. He believes that the team’s victory against Al Sadd has given them a boost of confidence, and they are ready to face Umm Salal. The Ooredoo Cup final will take place tomorrow at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
