The 18th class of cadets from the Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College graduated on Thursday morning at the college’s headquarters, under the patronage of the Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
A number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, as well as the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, were present at the occasion. Amiri Guard, Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), State Security, leadership from security, military, and university colleges, institutes, and academies from friendly and ally nations, Their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State, officers from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the Amiri Guard, and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), as well as guardians of the graduates, were also present at the ceremony. The event kicked with with the playing of the national anthem. When the 250 graduates from the states of Qatar, Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan had reached the front of the line, the commander of the graduates’ queue motioned for HH the Amir to check it.
