According to 2022 Recruitment Statistics published by the Ministry of Labour and Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CSGDB) yesterday, up to 7,127 positions would be created for Qatari nationals in both the public and commercial sectors of the country in 2022.
The data also shows the proportion of male to female hiring, the top industries in the nation, and many more details. With almost 5,000 people employed, the public sector generated the most job openings during the last year. Women accounted up 69% of new employees, and they filled most of the open positions. The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Primary Healthcare Corporation, and Hamad Medical Corporation were the top employing organisations within the government sector. The Supreme Judicial Council, the General Authority of Customs, and the Ministry of Municipality offered the most employment opportunities, though. In the meanwhile, 1,850 Qataris were employed by the private sector. 52% of newly hired workers were men, while 48% of candidates were women.
