The Qatar Kite Festival is set to take place from March 16-18, 2023 at MIA park hills, located near the ‘7’ sculpture by Richard Serra. The festival promises to be an exciting and entertaining event, showcasing a range of uniquely designed kites flown by teams from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States. The kites, which will be equipped with LED lights, will light up the Doha skies at night in a stunning display.
In addition to the kite displays, the festival will also feature activities for children, including inflatable games and two kite-building workshops located in front of Al Riwaq gallery and on the alley of MIA park hills. The festival will be open on March 16 from 3pm to 9pm, March 17 from 2pm to 9pm, and March 18 from 11am to 9pm. Regan Tetlow, the renowned MC of the Qatar Balloon Festival, will be presenting the event. This festival promises to be a fun-filled and exciting event for all ages to enjoy.
