Double taxation elimination deal between Qatar and Egypt
Yesterday, an official talks session was held between Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani and Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Dr. Mostafa Kamal Madbouly at the Amiri Diwan. They discussed ways of expanding bilateral relations between the two countries, with particular emphasis on the economic and trade fields, as well as discussing common regional and international developments of interest.
Following the talks, the two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of an agreement between the governments of Qatar and Egypt aimed at eliminating double taxation with respect to income taxes and preventing tax evasion and avoidance. The talks session and signing ceremony were attended by a number of ministers from both sides, including members of the Egyptian official delegation who accompanied H E Dr. Mostafa Kamal Madbouly.
Afterwards, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the visiting Egyptian Prime Minister and his delegation, which was also attended by several ministers.
