Foreign Affair’s minister inaugurates Qatar’s EU, NATO mission headquarters

The new headquarters of the State of Qatar’s delegation to the European Union and NATO in Brussels were officially opened on Thursday by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

The opening ceremony was attended by Secretary-General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union H.E. Stefano Sannino, and Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) H.E. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, and a number of Their Excellencies officials of the European Union and NATO.

The event included participation from the heads of diplomatic missions as well as the permanent representatives of the Arab states to the European Union, NATO, and the Cooperation Council for Arab States of the Gulf and the Kingdom of Belgium.

In a speech at the event, Al Muraikhi expressed his joy at being invited to the opening of the State of Qatar‘s mission to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), considering that the opening is proof of the shared desire to further solidify ties and pursue fruitful cooperation.
