IndiGo flight makes emergency landing in Karachi

An IndiGo flight heading to Doha from Delhi had to be redirected to Karachi airport in Pakistan due to a medical emergency. The pilot requested an emergency landing and the flight, numbered 6E-1736, was diverted to Jinnah Terminal International Airport. According to media reports, a 60-year-old Nigerian passenger was declared dead by the airport medical team upon arrival. The flight resumed its journey four hours later to reach its final destination.

IndiGo Airlines released a statement to Indian media, explaining that the flight had to be diverted due to a medical emergency onboard. They expressed their condolences, stating that unfortunately, the passenger was declared dead upon arrival by the airport medical team.
