Katara hosts Sudanese Rewaq Exhibition

Katara Cultural Village launched an art exhibition named “Sudanese Rewaq Exhibition” on its premises yesterday. This exhibition showcases more than 50 paintings created by Sudanese artists and is located in Building 47, Hall 2. The Sudanese Ambassador to Qatar, H E Ahmed Abdel Rahman Mohamed Hassan Suwar Al Dahab, along with other officials were present at the exhibition’s opening ceremony. The exhibition was organised by Katara in collaboration with the Sudanese Embassy.

Several Sudanese artists such as Ismail Qaleen, Hisham Al Hajj, Roua Onsa, Nour Al Hadi Al Khader, Mahad Ismail, Ali Al Tayeb, and Al Moez Abdel Baqi Al Ajaimi have contributed their artworks to the exhibition. Ambassador Al Dahab expressed his gratitude towards the administration of the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara for promoting Sudanese art and culture. He also mentioned that this exhibition is one of several recently organised events that aimed to provide Sudanese artists with a platform to showcase their creative talents.
