Katara International Arabian Horse Festival preparations begins

The Katara Cultural Village Foundation has started setting up the venue for the third Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF).

For this year’s event, the stage, event tent, and horse paddock have all been put up. The event, which will take place at Katara Esplanade, will run from February 1 through February 11 with a staggering QR17,083,500 in prize money up for grabs. It will have three events, much like the edition from 2022: The Peninsula Show from February 1 to 4, Arabian Horse Auction on February 7, and Title Show from February 8 to 11. Katara had emphasised that the third edition will be special and include a group of the best genuine Arab horses late in December of last year. The organisation has also said that you may register for the auction until January 13 for a charge of QR500. There are now 38 horses taking part in the auction.
