Major activities for Qatar National Day celebrations

Qatar is a nation that understands how to preserve its illustrious traditions and past. Qatar National Day, which is always celebrated on December 18, has played a key role in the success and expansion of the nation. The year 2022 will be even more memorable than usual since it will mark the nation’s gracious and joyous hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, which will have its championship match on the same day as the nation’s National Day. Beginning on November 25, the festivities for the day will go for 24 days across the nation. Visitors who are coming to Qatar for the football world cup in 2022 are in for the sweetest treat as they will get to participate in a ton of events and learn more about the colourful culture of the nation. The festivities during Qatar National Day 2022 are eagerly anticipated. So, listed below are some of the main activities planned for Qatar National Day.

Qatar National Day 2022 Parade

The Qatar National Day Parade is expected to have participation from the MOI, Emiri Guards, Lekhwiya, Civil Defense, Air Force, Navy, and many more. This time, it’s believed that the Air Force and Navy would also provide aerial and maritime demonstrations to adorn the occasion. People with an official invitation will be the only spectators on the property, continuing certain limitations from last year. It is encouraged that spectators watch the live broadcast because the corniche route where the procession is held will be blocked starting at 6 am.

Using fireworks to illuminate the sky

Along with music and illumination, fireworks are a key draw for locals and tourists during the celebration of Qatar National Day 2022 along the Doha Corniche. Before the crowds swarm in to view the stunning fireworks along the Corniche, it is advised that people grab their places. People may select the sites according to their interests as the fireworks will also be displayed in other areas of the nation. People are urged to attend some of the other activities and carnivals that will be held on December 18 in order to fully experience the spirit of nationalism.

Water and Air Displays

The public will be able to enjoy an air show and a show on this day in the morning as part of the celebrations for Qatar National Day. Members of the Navy and Air Force will put on these shows. People would be able to view the show from other parts of Doha even though the Corniche will be off limits as part of the Qatar National Day Parade.

The Katara Cultural Village’s activities

At Katara Esplanade at Katara Cultural Village, a lot of fun and intriguing events are planned. The dates for these events are December 16 through December 18, 2022. Poetry readings, theatre productions, street art, and other cultural acts showcasing Qatar’s rich heritage and customs will be among the events.

The Screening at Msheireb

Attend the screening of the short film about Msheireb Museums, which tells the tales of its four historical houses and the development of Qatar. Events and tales also serve as a source of inspiration because the Qatar National Vision 2030 is at the centre of most other activities in Qatar that encourage the young to develop.
