‘Our Earth Our Legacy’ marks Environment Day in Qatar

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in Qatar has launched the slogan ‘Our Earth Our Legacy’ to renew the country’s commitment to environmental conservation on Qatar Environment Day 2023, which is on February 26. The main objective of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment in combating climate change and encourage people to adopt eco-friendly behaviors.

Community members are encouraged to conserve water, reduce the consumption of materials by reusing them, use energy-efficient bulbs, and switch off lights when leaving the room. The Ministry also urges people to plant trees, volunteer in environmental campaigns such as beach cleaning, and educate others about the importance of preserving natural resources. The Ministry has planned various events in collaboration with public and private institutions to celebrate Qatar Environment Day 2023.
