Part of Bu Merzaz Street in Al Kharaitiyat is temporarily closed by Ashghal

In the Al Kharaitiyat neighbourhood, between Al Kharaitiyat Street and Street 12, a portion of Bu Merzaz Street will be temporarily closed in both directions, according to the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).

The closure will begin on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 6:00 AM in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, and it will last for one month. In accordance with Package 1 of the Road and Infrastructure Development Project in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa, the closure is intended to finish the street’s final asphalt layer work. Users of Bu Merzaz Street who want to go to Al Kharaitiyat Street at this time can do so by turning left in the direction of Street 12, then right at the first street, as depicted on the accompanying map. The Public Works Authority will put up signs on the roads warning drivers of the closure. To guarantee everyone’s safety, Ashghal recommends that they all observe the posted speed limits and traffic laws.
