PM attends forum promoting moral values
On Monday, H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, addressed a forum with the title “raising moral values among children and youngsters.”
The purpose of the forum, which is being organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), is to increase public awareness on mental health issues and behavioural challenges among school children and youths, as well as the role that educational institutions and families play in addressing these challenges and enhancing good behaviours among young people. The Prime Minister was a guest at a panel that was held in Qatar and was titled “Issues and Challenges of Parenting in Qatari Society.” The panel discussed the most common behavioural problems that are seen in children and young people, as well as the reasons behind these problems and potential solutions.
The Prime Minister was also shown a visual presentation about the students’ perspectives on harmful behaviours that are prevalent among young people.
