Qatar’s cruise tourism industry soars with Doha Port

The country’s cruise tourist business is intended to grow as a result of the most recent renovations at Doha Port, nicknamed “a new chapter.” Its new facilities are being built in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030 objectives and international standards.

In a tweet, Mwani Qatar stated that “A new chapter is being written at Doha Port, the seafront that was recently developed as part of efforts to push cruise tourism industry in Qatar to new heights towards achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.” The National Museum of Qatar, Souq Waqif, Msheireb Downtown Doha, and the Doha Corniche, from where visitors can see the city skyline, are all within easy walking distance of the new Grand Cruise Terminal, which debuted in November 2022.

The new terminal, which covers a space of 24,000 square metres, has arrivals and departures halls, an aquarium, an art gallery, customs and immigration offices, and tourist information facilities. According to Mwani Qatar, several amenities at the new terminal at Doha Port have been meticulously planned to meet the highest international standards in order to provide visitors with a seamless, safe, and pleasant experience.
