Rainfall to decrease gradually from tonight

According to the most recent meteorological report from the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), the temperature in Qatar will continue to decline from tonight, January 27, through Monday.

The Department issued a statement in which it stated, “A drop in temperatures from today evening 27/1/2023 and an increase in the feeling of coldness until Monday”. The minimum temperature at night may drop to 10-15°C during this time, while the daytime high may range from 18 to 22°C. Different parts of Qatar will see colder temperatures, with the southern and outlying portions experiencing much more of a drop. The likelihood of rain is anticipated to progressively diminish in the next hours, according to QMD. However, with the occurrence of high tides across certain beaches, sporadic rain continues to be seen at sea. The Department asked locals and citizens to exercise care and stay away from all maritime activity.
