Report on non-Qatari ownership regulation & use of real estate reviewed by Cabinet

On Wednesday, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani presided over the regular Cabinet meeting at the Amiri Diwan. After the meeting, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs issued a statement in which the Cabinet praised the success of the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which took place from March 5 to 9 in Doha. The conference, which was chaired by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, featured extensive international participation and constructive discussions that resulted in the Doha Political Declaration and the adoption of the Doha Programme of Action (DPoA) for the 46 Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2022-2031. The Cabinet noted that the outcome of the conference provided 1.2 billion people living in LDCs with hope for a better life and a more stable and prosperous future.

The Cabinet also expressed the State of Qatar’s welcome of the agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran to resume diplomatic relations, re-open their embassies and missions within two months, and activate the security cooperation agreement between them, as well as general cooperation agreements in the fields of economy, trade, investment, technology, science, culture, sports, and youth.
