Royal Challengers Bangalore and Qatar Airways partner
Qatar Airways has recently announced a new partnership with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), one of the most popular club cricket teams in India. The airline has become the Indian Premier League (IPL) team’s Official Front of Jersey Partner for the upcoming 2023 season. The first match of the season for the Bengaluru-based cricket team will be against Mumbai Indians on April 2, 2023.
To mark this new partnership, RCB held a special “Unboxing Event” at their home arena, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, in the presence of 40,000 fans, cricket legends, celebrities, team officials, and cricket superstars such as Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell. During the event, Qatar Airways cabin crew unveiled the team’s new jersey.
Moreover, Qatar Airways Holidays, the airline’s leisure division, is offering all-inclusive travel packages to cricket fans, including access to the bespoke Qatar Airways hospitality lounge at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, premium hotel options, IPL tickets, and exclusive experiences such as viewing practice sessions, signed memorabilia, player meet and greet, photo opportunities with Virat Kohli, and more. The packages are aimed at providing the ultimate RCB fan experience for the upcoming season.
