Sheikha Moza attends Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) Awards Ceremony
On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the National Museum of Qatar, H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Honorary Chair of Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), attended the Fashion Trust Arabia award gala.
H.E. Sheikha Almayassa bint Hamad Al Thani and Tania Fares, Co-chairs of FTA, were also in attendance, alongside a jury of fashion industry leaders and renowned international designers.
The first prize of the evening was given by Her Highness to Moroccan designer Artsi Ifrach for the category of Evening Wear. For the 2022 FTA Awards, other winners from Saudi Arabia included Siham and Sarah Albinali in the Ready-To-Wear category, Egypt’s Fatma Mostafa in the Accessories category, and Sudanese designer Eliaf Osman who took home the trophy in the Accessories category. Yemen’s Kazna Asker received the Debut Talent award. Burc Akyol received the Guest County Award, which was handed this year to Turkey.
Entrepreneur of the Year presented to businesswoman Huda Kattan, while Valentino Garavani received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which Giancarlo Giammetti accepted on his behalf.
