Strategic partnership between Amir and Chinese President
On the margins of the Riyadh-Chinese Gulf Summit for Cooperation and Development and the Riyadh-Chinese Arab Summit for Cooperation and Development, the Amir, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, held an official discussion with President of the People’s Republic of China, HE Xi Jinping.
Beginning the meeting, H.E. the Chinese President prayed for further growth and development in bilateral ties while congratulating H.H. the Amir on the success of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM and applauding the event’s planning.
In turn, H.H. the Amir expressed gratitude to H.E. the Chinese President and emphasised the significance of organising similar events in Asia and the Arab world. His Highness once more expresses his congratulations to the Chinese President on being re-elected as the party’s general secretary.
The focus of the discussion was on ways to strengthen the two nations’ bilateral strategic collaboration in all areas, notably in the business, energy, and industrial sectors.
