World Cup fans are amazed by SC Cultural Activation Programme

Numerous millions of football fans took in a dazzling display of cultural and entertainment events during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, which took place between 64 games and 29 days of exciting on-field action.

As part of the FIFA Fan Festival, Al Messila Bus Mall, Brahat Al Janoub and Madinatna fan accommodations, as well as the grand finale on Qatar National Day with artists concluding their journey by being part of the parade at Lusail Boulevard, 16,190 performers from around the world participated in the country-wide festival in Qatar. This was made possible by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy’s (SC) Cultural Activation Programme. “These performers played a huge part in the success of the World Cup. We are humbled by their dedication. When fans walked away from matches either disappointed or victorious, these performances created beautiful moments of human connection,” said Khaled Al Suwaidi, SC Stakeholder Relations Director.
