Mango Varieties and Food at the Exhibition

The exhibition brings together the best of India’s mango harvest under one roof.

Visitors can explore a wide variety of premium mangoes, including Dusehri, Langda, Alphonso, Kesar, Hapus, Neelam, Rajapuri, Malgova and Badami. Beyond fresh mangoes, the event also features mango-based products, pickles, sweets and authentic Indian cuisine.

This year, more than 35 Indian companies are taking part up from 30 last year. Several brand-new mango varieties will be introduced to the Qatari market for the very first time.

It is a true celebration of Indian flavour, right in the heart of Doha.

Hamba Exhibition: A Growing Tradition in Doha

This is the third year the exhibition has been held. And it keeps getting bigger.

Last year’s edition drew more than 114,400 visitors. Sales crossed 130,000 kilograms across 54 different mango varieties. Numbers like that do not happen by chance, this event has become one of the most anticipated seasonal festivals in Qatar’s summer calendar.

Hamba Exhibition general supervisor Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi said the event’s third consecutive year reflects its growing success. What started as a one-time idea has become an annual tradition driven entirely by public demand.

Why This Event Matters for Indians in Qatar

Qatar is home to a large Indian expat community. For many, this exhibition is more than just a food event. It is a taste of home.

The festival also strengthens cultural ties between India and Qatar, with backing from the Embassy of India and growing participation from Indian businesses each year. As Qatar’s reputation as a cultural and tourism hub grows, events like this add real value to the city’s summer lineup.
