Qatar inaugurates World’s largest e-bus depot
On Tuesday, Qatar marked a significant milestone in its transportation infrastructure with the inauguration of the Lusail Bus Depot, heralded as the world’s largest electric bus facility capable of accommodating 478 buses. Situated west of Lusail City, the depot’s opening ceremony was graced by H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport, alongside critical dignitaries, including H.E. Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi, President of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
