Amir meets with Turkmenistan’s President
The Amir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, held official talks today with the President of Turkmenistan, HE Serdar Berdimuhamedow. The meeting was held in Doha and aimed to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
At the start of the session, HH the Amir extended a warm welcome to HE the President and his delegation. The Amir expressed his desire for the visit to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and lead to progress and growth in their relations. In response, HE the President expressed his appreciation to HH the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality. He hoped that the visit would pave the way for broader horizons in bilateral cooperation.
During the talks session, both leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in fields such as education, economy, investment, commerce, energy, sports, and social affairs. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. The meeting is expected to pave the way for increased cooperation between the two countries and further strengthen their ties.
