The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, renowned for its advanced technology and innovation in showcasing the power of sport and Olympic spirit, hosted a temporary exhibition called ‘Qatar and the Sport of Kings’ in conjunction with the HH Amir Sword Festival 2023. The museum, which focuses on Qatar’s sports history, has dedicated sections to exhibit the development of sports in Qatar and their role in Qatari culture, culminating in the country’s emergence as a global sports hub. The exhibition celebrated Qatar’s equestrian history and accomplishments, emphasizing Qatar’s achievements in equestrianism at an international level.
The exhibition showcased a variety of unique exhibits, including the 2013 Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe Trophy, the Pure Arabian Stud Book Volume 1, and the passport of Amer, a renowned purebred Arabian stallion. The exhibition was held at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club from February 16 to 18.
