Activities announced for ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’

This winter, Qatar Tourism (QT) and Qatar Airways have revealed an incredible calendar of events and festivals. Family-friendly activities, sporting occasions, concerts, and a treat for lovers of cuisine, shopping, and jewellery are all part of the “Feel Winter in Qatar” campaign.

In addition to QT Chairman and Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group, H E Akbar Al Baker, QT Director of Shared Services Department, Omar Al Jaber, and QT Head of Marketing and Planning, Sheikha Hessa Al Thani made the news during a press conference yesterday at Mina Hotel and Residences. They also unveiled Nasser Abdullah Al Attiyah, a Qatari rally driver who just captured the Dakar Rally car championship for a record fifth time, as Qatar Tourism’s new ambassador at the event. Al Baker in his speech said that the build-up to the World Cup Qatar 2022 “introduced a variety of new openings, including hotels, shopping malls, public beaches and many more. All of which have strengthened and diversified the country’s hospitality, leisure and tourism landscapes.”
