Hours back to normal at museums

The opening hours of Qatari museums are now 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday through Thursday and 1:30 pm to 7 pm on Friday. The museums were open every day during the World Cup from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This featured the National Museum of Qatar, the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art, and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.

Children under 16 years old, citizens of Qatar and the GCC, and holders of One Passes are all admitted free of charge to all museums, including Qatar Museums (QM) galleries. Through the website of Qatar Museums, regular tickets are available for QR100. “FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 may be over, but our museums, galleries, heritage sites and other creative spaces remain ready to welcome visitors from around the world — online or in person,” QM wrote on its website.

Until April 1, 2023, the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will host the “World of Football” exhibition. Labor of Love is on display at Qatar Museums Gallery in Katara until January 28, 2023; Tales of a Connected World is on display at Qatar Museums Gallery in Al Riwaq until April 1st, 2023.
