Local & international experts to present 60 food security research papers at AgriteQ conference
The 10th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) 2023 is set to commence at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), with about 60 research papers on food security and the impact of climate change being presented by local and international experts from today. Dr. Muhammad Saif Al Kuwari, the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Associated Scientific Conference AgriteQ 2023, stated that senior officials, professors, researchers, and agricultural experts from various countries will participate in the event.
The conference aims to exchange knowledge, expertise, and scientific data specialized in food security, agriculture, livestock, and fisheries. Al Kuwari stated that this year, a new issue on the impact of the environment and climate change on food security will be introduced to discuss innovative solutions to preserve the environment and address climate change, which are of growing global concern, particularly its effect on food security.
